2 New members were introduced; Mike Smith & Suzie Dougherty.
Marty Dougherty will fish with Mike Smith this year and Mike will join up at Comanche
Mike Dougherty will fish with his bride, Suzie Dougherty.
Both were voted in as new members. Welcome Mike & Suzie
(That will put some heat on me if my wife fishes another event as a guest!)
Open Discussion:
New DFG Rule on Culling: The rule, which is old, does not allow anyone to cull any fish once they have put their limit into the live well. As a Team, our limit is 5 fish total, so if a Warden does stop and question you, neither partner has 5. One has 3 & one has 2 fish. If you are fishing by yourself, then you cannot put the 5th fish in the well unless you discard one first. It's a good idea to know what you have in the well at all times just to be safe!
Clear lake Events: Will both be scheduled out of Lakeport at Konocti Vista for our Weigh-ins - a complete breakdown and contacts will be in the Newsletter.

Event #6: Don Pedro @ Night Sat. July 23rd
Old Business: The only discussion was on the change of dates for Pardee.
New Business: The dinner tab for the Clear Lake event at Round Table was over $650.00. They charged us $5.00 each for the salads we had with dinner, which turned out to be more than the pizza and the beer. It was decided to discuss this with them and if they can't do better than that, to move the location in September.
It was also discussed that we possibly hold 3 - 6 hr. events at Clear Lake in September because we will still be under the 6 hr. time rule and it is a long way to go to fish 2 half days.
Possibly, we would hold both a 6:00 AM to Noon & 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM event on Saturday and then have a noon weigh in on Sunday to get as much time on the water as possible to still stay within the 6 hr. rule for that time of year. We will talk more about that at the July & August club meetings.
